DVD

Fistula in ano has always been a challenge for most surgeons especially if it is recurrent & complex. This 2 part DVD attempts to clarify the concepts regarding the anatomy & aetiopathology of fistulas & simplify even the most complex fistulas of crypto-glandular origin. There are 18 surgeries demonstrated - some preceded by animations for better understanding. The surgeries range from simple fistulas to more complex fistulas with openings in the abdomen, scrotum & gluteal areas. There are also sections showing how to manage ano-rectal abscesses & how to locally repair a sphincter after it is injured during fistula surgery. One surgery of recto-vaginal fistula is also included. There is more than 1 way to treat a fistula & various options for treating a fistula are shown. I hope this attempt of mine will enhance your operative skills in the surgery for fistula in ano.
